Attendence

Can I represent postmarketOS at an event?

• Yes, if you are a Trusted Contributor or Core Contributor (see team).

• Otherwise please get in contact with the team, we want to make sure that there is a common understanding of our culture, valuing collaboration over competition, praising and not bashing other mobile linux distros, recognizing value in upstreaming fixes, etc.

  • Do so by opening an issue in the events project.

Representation

• Make sure to read the Code of Conduct (CoC)

• Be aware that the CoC applies to you whenever you publicly represent postmarketOS, without prejudice of other CoC being applicable for the event.

• Be respectful towards other projects, and value collaboration over competition within the Linux space.

Support

• We might be able to send you stickers for the event (which we usually order in bulk, to be handed out at multiple events).

• If you need to buy something for the event: discuss it with us, then you can send an invoice and get reimbursed.

• You can also ask for social media support, where we can promote or boost your presence at the event.
